This policy describes how Criticore processes personal data when you use criticore.ai.

What data do we process?

When you submit a case we process: name, email, phone number (optional), postcode/location, company details (VAT/EAN for invoice orders), the case description and the photos you upload. Photos should only show equipment and components — please avoid photographing people or personal information.

What do we use it for?

(1) Delivering the service: identification, channel research and the report. (2) AI analysis: photos and the case description are processed by Anthropic's Claude model as a data processor for identification purposes. (3) Supplier contact: the technical content of the case (photos, dimensions, component data) is shared with relevant suppliers — never your name or contact details without agreement. (4) Anonymised learning: solved cases feed our component library without personally identifiable data.

Retention and your rights

Case data is retained while the case is active and thereafter for up to 5 years for accounting purposes (paid cases). You may at any time request access, rectification or deletion by writing to hello@criticore.ai quoting your case number.
